Greg Betza is an illustrator, artist and designer from New Jersey.
Greg's guiding philosophy is to allow a situation to dictate the creative
solution. In order to achieve this, he has developed a versatile approach
to his work in style, design, and thought. This approach has led him
to work for a diverse group of clients throughout the editorial, publishing,
advertising, and institutional industries.
Greg is a graduate of Parsons School of Design, New York, where he
was introduced to the art of reportage by the late illustrator, David
Greg has received numerous awards from institutions such as the Society
of Illustrators of LA, Communication Arts, and American Illustration.
In 2010 Greg was featured on Communication
Arts Fresh Online as one of the industry's top emerging illustrators.
Greg is a founding member and illustrator with Studio
1482, and artist co-op based in New York City. He is also a New
York/New Jersey correspondent for the international sketching blog
Greg is featured in the Quarry Books releases One
Drawing A Day and The
Art of Urban Sketching. He was also
the managing editor of the reportage based magazine Go
Do It by Studio 1482.
