Yann Le Bechec
Painter, graphic designer and illustrator, born in 1961 in Paris.
Yann Le Bechec graduated from Ensad (National School of Decorative
Arts, Paris in 1990) and Cooper Union (School of Arts, New York in
1991). After ten years of graphic design in various sectors (companies
and banks, cultural institutions, textbooks, extracurricular, educational
literature, exhibition signage, illustration) and several art exhibitions,
he has since 2002, worked as artistic director of an interiors magazine.
Yann works with various media as an illustrator (Le Nouvel Observateur,
NVO, Libération), and generated drawings for various reportage
books including: "New York, black neighborhoods"
(1991 Éditions Albin Michel), "Off-shore
North Sea " (1993, Editions Albin Michel)
and "Israel-Palestine "
with Jean-Paul Mari (2004, Editions Jalan).
